TRANSPARENCY OF ANSWER SHEETS :
UG students who desire to have a copy of their April – 2016 Examination answer papers can apply for the photocopy of the Answer sheets.
Date to apply for the Photo copy of Answer Sheets : 05.05.16 & 06.05.16
Issuing of Photocopy : 09.05.16
Fees for Transparency : Rs.100/-

REVALUATION :
UG Students who desire to have revaluation of April – 2016 Examination answer papers can apply for the revaluation.
Date to apply for Revaluation : 10.05.16 to 11.05.16
Fees for Revaluation per paper : Rs.400/-
Revaluation Result : 13.05.16

SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMINATION :
Supplementary Examination May 2016 will be conducted for 2013 batch UG students.

Eligibility: UG students of 2013 batch who have failed only in one paper in the last semester (i.e VI semester) alone are eligible. Application forms for Supplementary Exam will be available in the Controller of Examinations office from 23-05-2016 & 24-05-2016.

Last date for submitting filled in applications is 24-05-2016.

Date of Examination : 27.05.16 – ( Time: 10.00 a.m – 1.00 p.m )

Rs.475/- ( Exam Fees: 400/-; Statement of Marks: 50/-; cost of Application: 25/- )

Valuation:
Examinations :
Undergraduates I, III and V Semester -first week of November (Regular and Arrear exams included).
Postgraduates I and III Semester – first week of November (Regular and Arrear exams included).
Undergraduates II, IV and VI Semester – third week of April (Regular and Arrear exams included).
Postgraduates II and IV Semester – third week of April (Regular and Arrear exams included).

Minimum pass mark – External Valuation :
Undergraduates – 40%
Postgraduates – 50%

External Valuation Method:
UG – Valuation of the answer papers are done by external examiners.
PG – – Valuation of the answer papers are done by both internal and external examiners

Re-valuation of the answer book:
After the announcement of results within a week, all the UG students are eligible to apply for photocopy and re-valuation of the answer scripts.

Malpractice:
If any student indulges in malpractice, while writing the Semester exams, she is not permitted to write the consecutive exams. Moreover, any form of malpractice will be recorded in the students Conduct Certificate.

Continuous Internal Assessment :
All subject papers possess internal marks based on the. Semester Examination marks and internal marks is in the ratio 75:25. The Continuous Internal Assessment includes the following divisions.
One hour tests- (Best two of three) 10 Marks
Model Exam 25 Marks
Assignment 10 Marks
Attendance 5 Marks
Total Total
Internal Assessment (CIA) 50/2 = 25 Marks

The semester exam marks and the internal marks for practical papers is in the ratio 60:40. Continuous Internal Assessment includes the following divisions.
Continuous assessment 20 Marks
Model Examination 10 Marks
Test 5 Marks
Attendance 5 Marks
Total 40 Marks
Note: It is compulsory for all the students to attend the CIA. Only those students who have attended all the CIAs are eligible to receive the awards.

Supplementary – Exam :
Final year UG students who have arrear in only one paper can apply for supplementary exam. Application for supplementary exam should be submitted within days from date of online publication of results.

Criteria For Passing And Classification :
For students admitted in UG & PG courses 2012-2013 onwards
UG:There shall be no passing minimum in Internal. A student has to score a minimum of 40% in end semester examination(i.e.,30 out of 75). To pass a student should score 40 out of 100.

PG:There shall be no passing minimum in Internal. A student has to score a minimum of 50% in end semester examination(i.e.,38 out of 75). To pass a student should score 50 out of 100.
