Instructions of Tamil Nadu Class 12 Result
** The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) on May 6 announced the Tamil Nadu Class 12 result. The TN HSC plus 2 result 2024 can be checked at dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in.
** Of the 7,60,606 students appearing the TN HSE +2 exam this year, as many as 4,86,961 students appeared in science. The total number of students taking the TN +2 HSE in arts and vocational was 11,585 and 33,256 respectively.
** As many as 4,69,177 passed from the science stream and 9,925 students passed the TS plus 2 exam in arts and 28,549 in vocational.
** The overall pass percentage this year in TN HSE +2 exam is 94.56%. Students can check their TNDGE Class 12 result using their roll number and date of birth.
** Around 8.51 lakh students appeared in the TNDGE HSE exams in science, arts and commerce last year from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The Class 12 TN HSE result pass percentage last year stood at 94.03 per cent and in 2022, it was 93.80 per cent.
** The TN SSLC Class 10 result will be announced on May 10. The TN SSLC examination was conducted from March 26 to April 8 and the TN SSLC practical exams were held from February 26 to 28.
** Students will have to mandatorily score 35 marks per subject out of a total of 100 marks. All the subjects in TN HSE +2 comprise of a their component, a practical component and internal.
** While 15 marks out of 70 marks in theory must be scored in each subject, 35 marks in total is mandatory. For languages and subjects without practical, students will have to score a minimum of 25 out of 90 marks.
