** Selection of candidates for admission to M.F.Sc. degree course shall be done on the basis of marks obtained by them. The distribution of marks is furnished below :

** A minimum of 40% score in entrance examination is mandatory for SC/ST candidates and a minimum of 50% score in entrance examination is mandatory for other candidates.
** Based on the marks obtained out of 200, merit list will be drawn separately for Tamil Nadu State candidates and candidates from other States and published in the TNFU website tnfu.ac.in.
** In case of equal total marks, ranking will be done based on the marks secured in the Entrance Examination. If the Entrance Examination mark is equal the candidate with higher OGPA will be considered next. In case of a further tie, the date of birth of candidates will be considered and the older candidate shall be placed before the younger candidate.
** Eligible candidates will be called for Counselling as per the merit list.
Overall and communal merit list for M.F.Sc. in Aquaculture will be hosted in the University website. The candidates can opt for wait list if the discipline desired for is not available. Such candidates will not be offered any firm seat in other disciplines. If any vacancy arises later in the discipline concerned, the waitlisted candidates will be considered.
