SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Examination Result

Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination, 2023 – Declaration of Result of Computer Based Examination to call candidates for appearing in Skill Test in Stenography Staff Selection Commission conducted Computer Based Examination of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination, 2023 on 12.10.2023 and 13.10.2023 at various centers all over the country.

** As the Computer Based Examination was conducted in multiple shifts, marks scored by candidates have been normalized as per the formula published by the Commission on its website vide Notice No: 1-1/2018-P&P-I dated 07.02.2019. As per the provisions under Para 11 of the Notice of the Examination, normalized marks of the candidates have been used for processing the result to qualify the candidates for the next stage of Examination (i.e. Skill Test).

** As per Para 17 of Notice of the Examination, minimum qualifying marks in Computer Based Examination are fixed as follows:
(i) UR: 30%
(ii) OBC/ EWS: 25%
(iii) All other categories (SC, ST, PwD, ESM, etc): 20%

Cut-off Marks of Stenographer Grade C & D

** Based on the performance of the candidates in the Computer Based Examination, 3596 candidates have provisionally qualified for appearing in the Skill Test for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 18299 candidates have provisionally qualified for appearing in the Skill Test for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’.

The cut–off marks fixed by the Commission in the Computer Based Examination and the number of candidates qualified under different categories are as under :-

Note-1:*In addition to the no. of UR candidates shown above 146-SC, 24-ST, 859-OBC, 428-EWS, 4- OH & 06-VH candidates qualifying at UR cut- off. These candidates have been shown under their respective categories.

List-II: Candidates qualified for Skill Test in Stenography for Stenographer Grade ‘D’ :

Note-2:*In addition to the no. of UR candidates shown above 1004-SC, 126- ST, 3951- OBC, 1716-EWS, 7-ESM, 25-OH, 26-VH & 01-Others PwD category candidates qualifying at UR cut-off. These candidates have been shown under their respective categories.

** The result of 7 candidates bearing Roll No. 1203001278, 2201056952, 2201056953, 2201056954, 2201056955, 2201056956, 2201056957 have been kept withheld in compliance of court cases.

** The schedule of Skill Test will be available on the website of the Commission in due course. The Admission Certificates of the qualified candidates will be uploaded on the websites of the respective Regional Offices of the Commission about a week before the date of examination.

However, the candidates, who are unable to download their Admission Certificate, may contact the Regional Office concerned, immediately. The responsibility of ensuring the download of the Admission Certificate is solely on the candidates.

** Representations received from the candidates with regard to the Answer Keys have been carefully examined and the Answer Keys have been modified wherever necessary before preparing final Answer Keys. The final Answer Keys have been used for evaluation.

** Final Answer Keys and marks of the qualified/non-qualified candidates will be made available on the website of the Commission in due course.
