Selection Process

** The selection of candidates for the SETC Driver cum Conductor Examination 2023 will be based on their performance in the written examination and skill test. Candidates who secure the highest marks in the written examination and skill test will be selected for the job.

** Candidates will be selected through written test, practical test and Interview.
** No reimbursement for travelling allowance and other expenses for attending the written/practical test and interview.
** Candidates shall visit the website www.arasubus.tn.gov.in for all the details related to the written/practical test/interview to be conducted in connection with this recruitment.
** Download of Exam admit card and exam venue details will be posted periodically in the website www.arasubus.tn.gov.in. The candidates keep in touch with this site.

Possession of Valid Heavy Transport Driving License and Minimum 18 months of experience, First Aid Certificate, Badge and Valid Conductor License obtained on or before 01.01.2023.

Height and Weight :
Height minimum 160 cm and Weight 50 kg.

Physical Qualification :
Should not have any physical deformity. The visual acuity should be within the prescribed range
Candidates should be free from the following defects.
1. Eyesight deficiency.
2. Hearing deficiency.
3. Night blindness and Color blindness deficiency.
4. Abnormalities of bent legs, clubbed knees and flat feet.

Examination Pattern

** The SETC Driver cum Conductor Examination 2023 will consist of two parts:
** Written Examination – The written examination will be objective type and will consist of multiple choice questions. The examination will be held in Tamil and will cover the following topics

** The exam will be held for 100 questions and each question carries 1 mark.
** The duration of the examination is 90 minutes.
