DGE TN HSC Class 12th Result

Tamil Nadu’s Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu will release the result for HSC examination March, 2018.

Tamil Nadu HSC +2 examination for the academy year 2017-18 was successfully conducted by the DGE Directorate of Government Examinations from March 1- April 6.

Students can check these websites for TN HSC +2 Result 2018, TN Class 12th Result 2018 tnresults.nic.in, examresults.net, tamil-nadu.indiaresults.com.

How To Check the Result?

Step 1 : Go to the official website of Directorate of Government Examinations through the URL http://tnresults.nic.in/

Step 2 : Then Click the ‘HSC March 2018 Results’ link in the home page

Step 3 : After that, please enter the following details to check your Results
1. Enter Your Registration number
2. Enter Your Date of Birth

Step 4 : Finally Click on “Get Marks” button to get your score.

Download the Tamil Nadu HSC +2 Result 2018 and keep a printout for future reference.

Result Analysis

The TN HSC +2 Result pass percentage was 91.1%. Virudhnagar tops district with 97%, Erode comes second with 96.3%. 6754 school achieve 100% results.

This year too, girls outperformed boys by scoring 94.1 per cent while boys scored a maximum of 87.7 per cent.

State education minister K.A Sengottaiyan said that the Tamil Nadu Board will not be announcing the names of toppers and the marks obtained by them because it causes mental stress to children.

In 2017, the Tamil Nadu Class 12 results were declared on 12 May. In 2017, the overall pass percentage recorded a marginal increase to 92.1 percent, as compared to 91.4 percent in 2016.
