The results of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination, 2020 conducted by the Meghalaya Board of School Education are hereby published for information of all concerned.

Along with the detailed results, the following statements are furnished:
1) Abstract of the results.
2) Category-wise/Gender-wise percentage of pass.
3) District-wise percentage of pass.
4) Statement of SSLC Examination results for five years (2016-2020).
5) Institution-wise percentage of pass.
6) List of successful candidates occupying the first twenty positions in order of merit.
7) List of successful candidates securing the highest marks in each subject.

Note:
1. STAR (*) – Star mark indicates that the candidate has secured 75% and above marks in the aggregate.
2. The minimum aggregate mark for STAR MARK is 450 marks. LETTER – 80% or more marks in any particular subject.

It is with immense gratitude to all concerned that I am forwarding herewith the results of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination, 2020 which was held from 4th March, 2020 to 16th March, 2020.

The year 2020 being an unprecedented year with the Covid-19 pandemic posed many challenges. Like any organization, The Meghalaya Board of School Education too had its share of challenges to meet. With the calling of the nationwide lock down, spot evaluation of Secondary Papers had to be stopped. However, with the support of all concerned, the remaining spot evaluation could be completed.

In this context on behalf of the Board, I once again wish to express my sincere gratitude to all involved in the conduct of the examinations. Our gratitude goes out to the unrelenting support of The State Education Department, The Deputy Commissioner(s), The Superintendent(s) of Police of all districts, Bank Officials and all Board functionaries (Supervising Officers, Centre Officers-in-Charge, Invigilators, Custodians, Paper setters, Moderators and Examiners).

I congratulate all the successful candidates and encourage those who could not make it to try harder next time.
